Founded in 1995 by Pat Green-Smith, Dvercity Inc. as we call it, has survived a lot of ups and downs. Dvercity Inc has reemerged as the face of The Lightstand Project’s brick and mortar division. Its beginnings was in Niceville, Florida.
When Dvercity Inc. was started the passion for providing unique gifts and services was the primary objective. We wanted to provide the best quality product, with the best service at the best price possible. Now reimagining Dvercity Inc’s future emerged with The Lightstand Project platform, it broadens the possibilities to showcase my talents as well as the talents of my daughters, granddaughters, and other gifted and talented individuals.
My 30 years retail, services and vending experience is derived from a wide array of exposure to multifaceted and multicultural environments. I have overseen the management of food, gift and roving concessions, an optical shop, two laundry dry cleaners and alterations, a florist, a video arcade, and a movie theater. I have also been a manager of a home & garden shop, a computer & electronics department, a marina shoppette, and a military clothing store. All this experience came from my time in the Department of Defense traveling from Florida, Germany, and Kansas. My experiences and exposures along with gifts and talents that the Lord has blessed me with attribute to the diversity of knowledge, hence, the name Dvercity.
Now looking to the future during a pandemic, cautiously optimistic to see what the future has in store for Dvercity Incorporated collaborating with The Lightstand Project!
